Prior to forming the firm of Katz & Katz, Alan was a full-equity partner of the Syracuse-based law firm of Hiscock & Barclay, LLP.  As the Managing Director of the Long Island Branch, a general commercial firm, he had a staff of fourteen, including one other partner, four associates, and three paralegals.  Banks, Mortgage Bankers, Thrifts and several small closely- held Corporations and Partnerships were the clients serviced.

Before joining the firm of Hiscock & Barclay, Alan was a Sr. Vice President and General Counsel for Dollar Dry Dock Bank in White Plains.  Previously, he was Assistant General Counsel at Bankers Trust Company in New York City.  During his twenty-five years in banking, Alan concentrated on loan workouts, transactional commercial lending, and Articles 3 and 4 of the Uniform Commercial Code.

LOUISE KATZ (Louise.Katz@katzandkatz.com)

Prior to forming Katz & Katz, P.C., Louise maintained an office in Briarcliff Manor for twenty-two years.  Her practice is exclusively in the area of residential real estate, representing both purchasers and sellers, as well as mortgage lenders at the closing table. Having practiced in the Westchester area for as long as she has, Louise is known by, and enjoys an excellent working relationship with, many Bankers, Brokers, and Attorneys in the Westchester, Dutchess, Putnam and Rockland markets.
